So I finally got it done. Lots of pondering in this one and a lot of dialogue. New mysteries and new questions and the start of the desert escape. So, without further blabbering, here’s chapter 3 of He Who Seeks.

Chapter 10 is once more a building up chapter, though the end of it sends things in motion for some more important events. So without further time wasting, here’s the usual link.
I didn’t get to finish the next chapter of He Who Seeks as I had planned. Got distracted by a short story that I just need to edit before putting it out. So you’ll have to wait a bit longer for a new chapter of it.

I hope you enjoy this one even though it’s a bit of a building up chapter. Several things happen that will be important in the future chapters and there is the fact the journey progresses a fair bit in this one.

So, the side-project seems to be progressing pretty well so far. Certainly much quicker than I’d expected. In any case, here is the second chapter for the story.
Hermes and Travis do a bit of ruin exploration and find all sorts of useful things. Decisions are made and new monsters are encountered. The first chapter got a lot of positive comments in various places so I hope this chapter can continue it in a satisfactory manner.

I’ve almost got another chapter of He Who Seeks complete. Depending on how I have time and motivation, maybe next week will see a new chapter of it released. We’ll see.
So let’s get right to it. Chapter 6 of Horizon is here. A new character is introduced as Nala recovers from the ordeal she has been through. This is more an building up chapter rather than tearing down, but you need those once in a while, right?

Now, on to the other topic of today: He Who Seeks. This is an side project that has nothing to do with the world of Balaria, so don’t expect the releases to be regular. It’s something I write when I’ve already done my daily quota for Horizon and have absolutely nothing else to do. So you’ll maybe see a chapter per month and that’s a big maybe. I’ll finish the story, don’t worry about that, but it’ll be slow.
Now, what’s the story about? Well, you’ll just have to read it. I don’t have a blurb for you. It’s is sci-fiesque so don’t expect any elves popping up and it’s a lot about character interaction. Give it a try 🙂

It’s not often, but sometimes I end up reading a news article that gives me some idea for a small piece of writing. In the case of KtLB it was this piece about an Arkansas state legislative candidate and how he thinks there’s a case for giving the parents the right to have the state kill “rebellious children”.
It’s not exactly the greatest thing I’ve written, but I hope you find it enjoyable 🙂
