The Book of Lies – Chapter 1

Heya.

Pretty excited. Time to start the first long term story of the year. While it’s not part of the Balaria universe I hope the fantasy fans among you will enjoy it. It’s pretty low fantasy in the sense that there are no elves or strange creatures.

Also, if I’ve done my math right, I believe this is now my tenth full length novel so there’s that too. Hard to believe I’ve gotten that much done. Anyway, here’s a small pitch to give you some idea of the story we’re about to embark on:

Taroc Radkel has a mission. Root out heresy in the various monasteries of the kingdom. As exciting as that job sounds it is often no more than perusing through books in dusty libraries, but it is the dusty places that hide the greatest of mysteries.

And without further ado, here’s the link.

Jacked Up

Helloes.

First off, a happy new year to everyone. Hope it turns out to be a good one for all of you. With that it’s time for the first story of the new year. It’s a short, sci-fi themed romp, exploring the perils of integrating technology with our own bodies. I hope you enjoy it 🙂

This year I hope to finish at least two of the unfinished novels I have kicking around. I’m 44 000 words into one of them and the others is ~83 000 words in and very close to being finished. We’ll see how long it takes to start putting out chapters of that. Meanwhile I’ll probably post a few more short stories, though with no solid schedule. Hope that’s enough to tide you over 🙂

Assassin’s Death – Complete

Helloes.

Today sees the final chapter of the story as well as a small epilogue. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the story and find the conclusion satisfactory.

This is likely the last piece of writing I’ll be posting this year. There are plenty of things I’m working on right now and you will start seeing them posted some time next year. There might be some short stories to come on this side of the new year, but I’m not 100% certain on those. We’ll see. Maybe a Christmas themed short one? We’ll see. Anyway, thank you for reading and I’ll see you on our next adventure together.
