Another weekend, another chapter ready. Some new characters get introduced, a few important events take place and things start heading forward. Also, made a minor tweak to chapter 10 to make things a bit more plausible.

Chapter 12 is already done in its rough shape and chapter 13 just needs a few more things to be done story wise. After a bit of polish I’ll put up chapter 12 next weekend. Until then 🙂

New year and a new chapter. With this begins part two of the Guardian Spirit tale. Hope you enjoy it. New PDF file so you don’t have to download the entire part one every time I post a new chapter. Anyway, here’s the link:

With the new year I also made two resolutions to myself. First being that I will try to write on average 1000 words per day. I’ve been doing that for about a week now and it seems to work pretty well. I used to write when ever I felt like it, but that seems to bring all sorts of problems with it, consistency in text quality being one of them. Seems to bring much better results when you do a little bit at a time every day.
The second resolution was that I’d finish the Guardian Spirit storyline this year. That should prove no problem if I can keep the pace I’m doing now. Might even be that the story is finished within 2-3 months, but we’ll have to see 🙂

So as I said in my previous post, chapter 9 was finished pretty fast. With in comes part one of the story to an end. So, what has changed?

It’s that time again — time for a new chapter of Guardian Spirit. Hope you enjoy it. There hasn’t been much changes besides the addition of chapter 8. So, without further rambling, here it is:
Guardian Spirit – Chapters 0-8
I hope to have the next chapter done pretty soon. Chapter 9 will essentially conclude what I consider to be “Part 1” of the story. The chapter after that will kick off “Part 2” so no need to worry about the story ending quite yet. We’re up to a little over 40 000 words now and I’d say there’s easily another 40 000 words yet to come, maybe more, maybe less. Depends on how I decide to resolve certain things.
